Privacy policy

This policy covers birdspikes.store, operated by Bird Spikes USA, a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd.

What we collect and why

• Order details: your name, email address, shipping address and what you bought. We need these to take and ship an order and to email you about it.
• Messages: anything you send us through the contact form or by email, so we can answer you.
• Site analytics: pages viewed and how you arrived, through Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads. These only run if you accept analytics cookies.

We do not collect payment card numbers. Card details go straight to Stripe or PayPal, who process the payment; we see only the result and the last four digits.

Who we share it with

Only the companies that make an order work: our payment processors, the carrier that delivers your parcel, the warehouse that picks it, and the email service that sends your confirmation. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting and warranty purposes. Contact messages are kept while the question is open and for a reasonable period afterwards. Analytics data is retained under Google's own schedule.

Your rights

Email theteam@birdspikes.store to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted where we are not required to keep it. If you are a California resident, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know, to delete, to correct, to opt out of any sale or sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We will not ask you for anything beyond what we need to confirm who you are.

Cookies

See our cookie policy. Analytics and advertising cookies only load after you accept them, and you can change your mind at any time.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.
